Proprietor
Jim Hargis is a commercial artist and airbrush instructor with over 50 years of experience. First inspired by Fred O. Seibel (Richmond Times Dispatch), Jim began working as a commercial artist after a four-year tour with the U.S. Navy. His work experience ranges from photo retouch to technical illustration and mapmaking. For 25 years, he was an illustrator for BJU Press in Greenville, SC. Jim has a gift for mentoring other artists, both students and aspiring professionals. He and his wife, Grace, live in Taylors, where they are active members of Faith Baptist Church.
